Exports of non-oil products through Iran's Khosravi Customs announced

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 9. The export of non-oil products through Khosravi customs of Kermanshah Province, located in the west of Iran, amounted to 11,600 tons worth $73.9 million in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through April 2024), Director General of the Customs Administration of Iran's Kermanshah Province, Ali Asghar Abbaszadeh said, Trend reports.

According to Abbaszadeh, in the first month, exports of non-oil products through Khosravi customs increased by 47 percent in value terms and decreased by 22 percent by weight compared to the same month last year.

Abbaszadeh observed that Khosravi Customs primarily exported non-oil products to Iraq during the first month.

The official stated that the main exports during the specified month were cement, iron ore, fruits, vegetables, water conditioners, steel ingots, ceramics, eggs, and other goods.

Moreover, the Iranian province of Kermanshah exported 491,000 tons of non-oil products worth $231 million in the first month of the current Iranian year. Compared to the same month last year, non-oil product exports increased by 17 percent in value terms and 6 percent in weight terms.

To note, according to the statistics of the Iranian Customs Administration, in the first month of the current Iranian year, the country's exports of non-oil products amounted to 9.7 million tons worth $3.17 billion. During the first month, Iran's non-oil exports decreased by 16.9 percent in value terms and 9.66 percent in weight terms compared to the same month last year.
