BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 24. On September 23, 2025, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili held a meeting with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, Trend reports.
The ministers discussed key issues of bilateral relations, underscoring the close cooperation between the two countries, which they described as a strategic partnership.
Talks also focused on Georgia’s relations with the European Union and the country’s ongoing process of European integration. Minister Bochorishvili expressed gratitude to her Hungarian counterpart for Budapest’s consistent support of Georgia’s European aspirations, both politically and through expert-level cooperation. The two sides confirmed their intention to continue joint efforts in this direction.
The importance of maintaining active high-level visits and further expanding sectoral cooperation was also emphasized during the meeting.
