BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 28. On October 27, 2025, Georgia’s newly appointed Ambassador to Egypt Nikoloz Abkhazava presented his credentials to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, marking the official start of his diplomatic mission, Trend reports.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Abkhazava conveyed warm regards from Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral relations across political, economic, and cultural spheres.
President el-Sisi welcomed the ambassador and congratulated him on his appointment, wishing him success in strengthening ties between Georgia and Egypt.
