On November 23, the activists of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (APFP) once again tried to hold a picket near the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan. The police employees prevented the unofficial action, Trend reports.
Women took more active part in the action. But the police employees took the area that was dedicated for the action (Baku Soviet metro station) into control beforehand. The police employees did not allow the action participants to move to the Presidential Administration, took the slogan from them and did not allow them to read the resolution of the action. As a result, an incident happened between the police employees and action participants, and the members of the APFP put up resistance against the police employees. It was stated by APFP that nearly 70 action participants were detained and there are women amongst them.
