Trend R.Ergun / Vice President of the Neftchi Football Club, one of the leaders of Football Premier League of Azerbaijan, Ramiz Musayev, considers that the refereeing of German referee Baba Rafati, who managed the games with Inter in semifinal of Country Cup, was biased,
"I expected a victory from Neftchi in the game with Inter. However, the referee did not manage the game objectively. The German referee should have booked the Inter player Elvin Mammadov twice as he fouled Ramal Huseynov, but he did not do it," Musayev reported to Trend on 24 April.
The teams of Khazar-Lankaran - Gabala and Neftchi - Inter met in the semifinal of the Azerbaijan Football Cup. After the matches on 23 April, it is clear that Inter will meet with Khazar-Lankaran in the final on 28 May. According to the Vice President, the chances of Neftchi are slim to become champion. "It is unlikely that we will be champions under such refereeing," Musayev said.
Currently the leader of the Premier-League is Olympic football Club. Neftchi occupies second place after Olympic with a 6-point difference.
