BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 14.​ Azerbaijan's Azerishig OJSC supplied nearly 20 billion kWh of electricity for consumption across Azerbaijan in 2024, with losses recorded at 8.5 percent, Trend reports.

The report on the Cabinet of Ministers' activities for 2024 at today's plenary session of the Azerbaijani Parliament noted that the collection rate for electricity provided to consumers reached around 98 percent since the beginning of the year. Additionally, 38.5 million kWh of electricity was produced by Wind Power Plants under the OJSC's management.

Moreover, the company also laid down over 4,281 km of cables and overhead lines of varying voltage.

The report also noted that the number of consumers served by Azerishig OJSC reached 2.98 million, with 2.79 million being residential consumers and 189,200 being non-residential consumers.
