The Azerbaijani Transport Ministry prepares to commission two highway tunnels in the Narimanov district of Baku (near metro station "Ganjlik"), a source in the Ministry said.
One tunnel is situated at the intersection of Prospect Fatali Khan Khoysky and Keroglu Rahimov street. The second one is at the intersection of Tabriz and Keroglu Rahimov streets.
"The work at these objects has not been finished yet. Both road objects are planned to be commissioned during this month," the source said.
The area near "Ganjlik" metro is one of the most important and busiest traffic intersections of Baku. Therefore, a new major highway interchange, which is designed to ease traffic of vehicles, is being built along with underground transport tunnels.
