Kazakhstan has exported 378,064 tons of wheat worth $51.6 million to countries of Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) over the period from Jan. through Nov. 2020, Trend reports citing the data of Eurasian Economic Commission.
The report said that this is 21.8 percent more in volume and 20.1 percent less in value than during the same period of last year.
Thus, some 329,089 tons worth $42.8 million of wheat were exported to Russia, and 48,975 tons worth $8.7 million were exported to Kyrgyzstan.
During the reporting period of 2020, Kazakhstan has also exported 15,543 tons worth $2.9 million of barley, 1,103 tons worth $179,939 of oats to Russia.
Furthermore, some 237 tons worth $81,234 of corn were exported from Kazakhstan to EAEU member states, which is 44.6 percent less in volume and 85.7 percent less in value year-on-year. Corn export to Kyrgyzstan was 124 tons worth $8,056, whereas corn export to Russia equaled 113 tons worth $73,178.
Some 37,702 tons of rice worth $10.1 million were also exported to EAEU countries from Kazakhstan during the reporting period of 2020. Some 32,654 tons worth $8.3 million of rice export accounted for Russia, 3,280 tons worth $1.2 million for Kyrgyzstan, 1,768 tons worth $597,187 for Belarus.
During the reporting period of 2020, Kazakhstan has also exported 10 tons of buckwheat worth $5,100 to Kyrgyzstan.
Kazakhstan’s wheat flour export to EAEU stood at 93,944 tons worth $26.2 million, which is 11.1 percent less in volume and 6.4 percent more in value than during the same period of last year.
Of the volume exported, some 73,613 tons worth $19.3 million were purchased by Kyrgyzstan, 20,311 tons worth $6.9 million by Russia, and 21 tons worth $7,820 by Belarus.
