BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 18. Financial flow data testify to growth in Azerbaijan’s economic activity in the third quarter of 2022, Trend reports on October 18 via the report of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) on analysis of intersectoral financial flows.
"During the specified period, incoming payments increased by 1.8 billion manat ($1.06 billion) or 11.2 percent, compared to the same period last year, to 18.7 billion manat ($11 billion)," the CBA report said.
According to the document, in the structure of incoming payments, the largest share fell on the spheres of public administration, defense and social security - 20.8 percent, trade and repair of vehicles - 16.2 percent, and construction - 16 percent.
From July through September 2022, revenues from the provision of administrative and support services increased by 48 percent year on year - up to 191.6 million manat ($112.7 million), from the processing industry - 1.78 billion manat or $1.05 billion (growth of 23.9 percent), construction (large-scale work carried out in Azerbaijan's liberated territories made a significant contribution to the growth) - almost three billion manat or $1.76 billion (an increase of 39.1 percent), information and communications - 489.5 million manat or $287.9 million (up by 8.3 percent).
