BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 14. The cost of services rendered to the population in Baku grew by nine percent from January through October 2024 compared to the figure of 2023 and amounted to 6.18 billion manat ($3.6 billion).

Data obtained by Trend from the Baku City Statistics Department shows that the legal entities went the extra mile and provided services worth a whopping 5.9 billion manat ($3.47 billion) to the population in the capital during that time frame, which made up a staggering 95.9 percent of the overall value of services provided.

To note, the value of paid services rendered to the population in Baku in 2023 increased by 17.4 percent compared to the figure of 2022 and amounted to 7.3 billion manat ($4.2 billion).

The data of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan indicates that in 2023, the cost of paid services rendered to the population in Azerbaijan increased by 14 percent compared to 2022 and amounted to 11.4 billion manat ($6.7 billion).
