BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 10. Tajikistan's Ministry of Agriculture published the latest information on the country's fruit and vegetable production, Trend reports citing the ministry's press service.
As of October 7, 2022, Tajik farmers have collected a total of 1,197,016 tons of vegetables, including:
- 525,476 tons of onions;
- 246,843 tons of tomatoes;
- 119,887 tons of cucumbers;
- 122,861 tons of carrots;
- 46,010 tons of cabbage;
- 135,938 tons of other vegetables.
Meanwhile, Tajikistan's fruit harvest since the beginning of this year amounted to 212,392 tons: in the Sughd region -77,502 tons, in the Khatlon region - 99,416 tons, and 32,467 tons in districts under central government jurisdiction.
