BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 29. Uzbekistan exported 58,900 tons of carrots worth $10.5 million to 11 countries from January through September 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
During this period, the export of carrots increased by 10,800 tons compared to the same period last year.
The biggest amount of carrots were exported from the country’s Andijan region, which is amounted to 19,800 tons, followed by the Fergana region (8,800 tons). Namangan region is third (4,800 tons), Khorezm region comes next (4,700 tons).
