Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili met with representatives of the Georgian diaspora in Brussels. It was attended by about 300 Georgian immigrants and not only from Belgium.

Ivanishvili informed compatriots about investment projects. He reported that a special investment fund is being established involving co-financing. That means, if someone from the diaspora invests 25 per cent of the amount required in a particular business or project in Georgia, Ivanishvili will contribute the remaining 75 per cent. Ivanishvili promised that money will not be 'lost' and the fund will be profitable.

During the meeting one of the ex-patriots who hid former Gldani prison employee Lado Bedukadze, passed a letter to the prime minister, the content of which is unknown.
