Twenty-three-year old Valeriy Bobok who participated in a protest action early week died in Kishinev on April 12, Interfax reported.
Bobok's parents told journalists that the police arrested and beat him after the protest action and as a result, he died.
The parents said they took Bobok's dead body from the Kishinev morgue on April 12. The relatives claim that there were sings of strong beating on his body.
Bobok is married and has a one-and-a-half-year-old child.
Moldavian Interior Ministry Press Secretary Alla Meleka told Interfax that the ministry does not have any information of this case. At the same time, the ministry source said that Valeriy Bobok might die of asphyxiation which was used against the protestors on April 7.
On April 7, unrest in Kishinev injured roughly 200 people, including almost 100 police officers. Some 43 of them were hospitalized and one of them has serious state.
