TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 16. Uzbekneftegaz JSC and United Energy Group Limited signed a Term Sheet Agreement on increasing gas production at the Gazli fields, Trend reports.
The agreement, signed during the Uzbekistan International Energy Forum, marks an important step toward introducing advanced technologies into the oil and gas sector, leveraging international expertise, and boosting hydrocarbon production volumes. The parties also exchanged views on further modernization and optimization of production processes.
United Energy Group Limited is a Hong Kong-listed independent energy company specializing in oil and gas exploration and production. With operations in Pakistan, Iraq, and Egypt, UEG has become the largest foreign-invested oil exploration and production company in Pakistan, managing 19 onshore blocks and producing over 100,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
