TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 30. A whopping 63 million bank cards have been issued in Uzbekistan as of May 1, 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the country’s Central Bank (CBU) shows that Xalq Bank leads the market with the highest number of issued cards, totaling 11 million. Agrobank ranks second with 5.7 million cards in circulation, while Ipoteka Bank holds third place with 4.9 million cards issued.
At the other end of the spectrum, Saderat Bank Tashkent has issued the fewest cards, with just 2,280 in circulation.
In 2024, Uzbekistan issued a total of 53.5 million bank cards. Xalq Bank once again led the market with 12.4 million cards issued, followed by Agrobank with 5.3 million, and Ipoteka Bank, which issued 4.6 million cards during the year.
