In 2005 Turkey sent $1 bln humanitarian aid abroad. According to the report Development Support, Pakistan took first place in the list of countries offering aid ($126 mln) during an earthquake which occurred last year Trend reports.
On the list, Pakistan is followed by Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, who received $131 mln. Azerbaijan received support in the amount of $28 mln. Last year 695 professionals from Azerbaijan passed courses to enhance their level of skills at the expense of the State budget of Turkey.
