The Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies has designed initial documents on action program under the formation of E-government in Azerbaijan, Trend reports. The documents were developed by a working group functioning under the Coordination Council, established for the implementation of a state program on the development of communications and information technologies in Azerbaijan 2005-2008 (E-Azerbaijan).
Earlier, a delegation of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies hosted a meeting with the World Bank during the visit to the United States. The WB praised a project in the establishment of a model E-Government' and resolved to approve 30m to Azerbaijan. The project will be commissioned by the end of the year.
South Korean SK voiced its readiness in approval of a $30 credit to Azerbaijan on soft-credit terms.
