President of Kyrgyzstan Roza Otunbaeva on Tuesday met with Pakistan's Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, who arrived on one-day working visit to Kyrgyzstan, reported the president's press service.
Hina Rabbani Khar handed in the message of Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gillani and shared the vision of Pakistan on expansion of bilateral relations and the current situation in the region, CA-News reported.
The Business Council was established since visit of the Prime Minister of Gillani to Bishkek in March 2011. the first meeting of the intergovernmental commission will be held soon, Foreign Minister Khar said.
"We have a road map for cooperation development. Time shows how many opportunities was lost in the previous years," the Minister said.
"Kyrgyzstan is interested in expansion of bilateral relations and bringing them to a higher level," Roza Otunbaeva said in turn.
Roza Otunbaeva and Hina Khar discussed bids of both countries for UN Security Council non-permanent membership and underlined importance of realize of the sovereign right to participation in work of its bodies by each UN member state and wished success to each other in bids.
