The Iranian GDP will increase around $329 billion by the end of March 2017 to $875.5 billion, The Economist Intelligence Unit said in its April report.
The report added that the GDP will hit $545.9 billion in the current calendar year, up $39.4 billion compared to the year before, the ISNA News agency reported.
Meanwhile, Finance and Economic Affairs Minister Shamseddin Hosseini on May 8 that between 2006 and 2011, GDP of Iran increased from $241 billion to $482 billion, the IRNA News Agency reported.
He added that per capita income stands at $13,000 in Iran. The International Monetary Fund has named the country as the 17th major economy in the world, he noted.
