Dozens of Libyans protested against the possible return of an exiled former senior government official, outside the opposition National Transitional Council ( NTC) headquarters in rebels' stronghold of Benghazi on Monday, Xinhua reported.
The protesters, mostly youngsters, shouted no to the possible return of Awad Alwerfaly, a former head in charge of interior security affairs in the Libyan government, from Egypt. Awad Alwerfaly had fled to Egypt shortly after the unrest began in Libya.
The crowd, urging putting Awad Alwerfaly to court, marched on the street under the escort of the Libyan rebel soldiers.
