At least 14 people were killed and 15 others injured when a passenger bus fell into the sea off Mariguitar, a village close to Cumana city, the capital of eastern Venezuela state Sucre, Xinhua reported.
Civil protection staff said the bus had crashed into a sea wall and fallen into the sea at around 3 p.m. local time, as it was taking a full bus load of passengers along a highway.
The injured were taken to a hospital in Cumana, the head of Sucre's Interior Ministry said.
