Slovenian and Albanian ex-presidents to visit Baku

Slovenian and Albanian ex-Presidents - Milan Kucan and Recep Meydani will visit Baku to participate in the South Caucasus forum organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center together with the Club of Madrid with the support of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora to be held on May 6-8, the State Committee told Trend today.

Slovenian and Albanian ex-Presidents - Milan Kucan and Recep Meydani will visit Baku to participate in the South Caucasus forum organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center together with the Club of Madrid with the support of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora to be held on May 6-8, the State Committee told Trend today.

The two former presidents are members of the Club of Madrid - one of the organizers of the South Caucasus Forum.

The main partners of the international forum are the State Committee for Work with the Azerbaijani Diaspora, the Library of Alexandria, the Foundation for Peace, the leadership of Ganja and the Council of Global of Leaders.

It should be stressed that Milan Kucan was the Slovenian first president and led the country from 1991 to 2002.

Recep Meydani was the Albanian president from 1997 to 2002. Meydani is a professional physicist and has the title of Doctor of Philosophy.
