A seasoned hotelier, Kai Behrens took over the helm of the Kempinski Hotel Badamdar at the end of 2013 from his predecessor Pierre Stacher. Having started his hotel career with the Hyatt, where Kai acquired solid experience as Director of Rooms and Front Office Manager in diverse locations around the globe, Kai then joined Kempinski in 2007. After having fulfilled the role of Resident Manager in several Kempinski properties, then General Manager of the Hotel Bristol Sarajevo, in his next challenge as General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Badamdar, Kai's well-rounded hotel experience will surely elevate this property to the next level of excellence.

Kai is currently preparing the Reims Management School Executive MBA for Hospitality and Tourism. In addition to his native German, Kai masters English fluently and has good knowledge of French.
