BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 19. The electricity generation in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) amounted to 59.8 million kWh from January through February 2024, which is 8.3 percent more than in the same period of 2023, Trend reports.
Data from the State Energy Service of NAR shows that 8.1 million kWh of the mentioned volume was produced by hydroelectric power plants (up 33 percent against January-February 2023), and 7.2 million kWh was generated by solar power plants (down 6 percent).
Around 44.5 million kWh was produced by a power plant supervised by the State Energy Service of NAR.
