BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 12. The number of registered users of Mobile Banking services in Turkmenistan at the beginning of January 2024 amounted to 69,782, Trend reports.
According to the Turkmenistan's Central Bank, the number of service users in the stipulated time is 15 percent higher than in the same month last year (60,654 users).
The largest number of registered users of this service lives in Mary (18,088 users) and Lebap (18,028 users) regions, as well as in the city of Ashgabat (14,322 users).
Turkmenistan State Commercial Bank has the largest number of users in the reporting period - 16,855 registered users. Halkbank Joint-Stock Commercial Bank - 16,663 users and Dayhanbank State Commercial Bank - 14,274 users follow this indicator.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan is actively developing its financial sector, especially in the field of digital finance.
