Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili received a congratulation letter from the U.S. President Barack Obama with regards to the Independence Day of Georgia.
According to the Foreign Ministry of Georgia, President Saakashvili received the letter on May 20.
It emphasizes the importance of cooperation between the United States and Georgia, based on shared interests and values that present a solid basis for implementing the provisions of the Charter on Strategic Partnership between the United States and Georgia.
U.S. President again highlighted his strong support for the territorial integrity of Georgia and the country's integration into Euro-Atlantic space.
