It is necessary to develop economic and trade cooperation between our countries based on equal and mutually beneficial principles, while working to create a permanently favorable environment for the implementation of investment projects, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Shahin Mustafayev, said, Trend reports.
He made the remark at a trilateral meeting with representatives of the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Mustafayev noted that the Declaration of the Presidents of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the Russian Federation dated August 8, 2016, and the Joint Statement dated November 1, 2017, play an exceptional role in economic cooperation, the development of safe and reliable regional and international transport corridors, and the implementation of projects in the energy sector.
“In addition to the summits, a meeting between our countries was held in Baku in 2022 with the participation of the Deputy Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan and Russia, as well as the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran,” the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
