The stability and reliability of the networks have significantly increased over the past ten years due to the introduction of digital control centers and SCADA systems. Currently, as many as 34 substations in the country are managed via this system.

The energy-saving rate increased from 80 percent up to 97.6 percent, and technical losses decreased from 13.9 percent down to 8.5 percent. It is expected that by the end of this year, technical losses will be reduced by another 0.2 percent, reaching 8.3 percent,” Mammadzada noted.
