The US Epsilon Development Company has announced that after hydraulic fracturing on Dec.14, the flow rate of 140,000 cubic meters of gas per day was received from previously three inactive wells in the Khoji-Khairam and Garbiy Toylok fields in Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the company's statement.
The hydraulic fracturing was carried out jointly with Uzbekistan’s Uzbekneftegaz oil and gas company.
The daily production rate of the inactive Khoji-Khairam-5 well reached 50,000 cubic meters of gas, of an inactive well Garbiy Toylok-11 became 50,000 cubic meters of gas, and of the well Garbiy Toylok-12 - 40,000 cubic meters of gas.
In addition, on December 15, after hydraulic fracturing, the flow rate of 130,000 cubic meters of gas per day was received from two inactive wells in the Sharky Ispanli and Oydin fields.
Namely, the daily production rate of the Sharky Ispanli-22 well grew to 80,000 cubic meters gas; the daily production rate of Oydin-3 well reached 50,000 cubic meters of gas.
Recoverable gas in accordance with the government's decision will be provided to the population.
The main activities of Epsilon are prospecting, exploration, production and transportation of hydrocarbons and flare gas and oil; construction of industrial facilities; construction of transport communications.
One of the missions of the company in Uzbekistan is to develop and progress new and sustainable energy projects, which will serve as a catalyst for socio-economic development at both regional and national levels.
For the implementation of projects in Uzbekistan, a consortium of investors has been established with the Thyssen Krupp (Germany), Epsilon Development Company, and Epsilon Asia Limited (Hong Kong).
In the framework of joint activities, Epsilon has already commenced large-scale exploration within the Kultak-Kamashi, Mubarak, Surkhan, Ashibulak, Koskudyk and West Fergana investment blocks.
