Last week Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev opened the service center #1 of "ASAN" State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations.
The President was informed that "ASAN" Service Center would include 23 legal services.
These services include: the ministries of Justice, Interior, Taxes, the State Committee on Property Issues, State Customs Committee, State Migration Committee, State Land and Cartography Committee, State Social Protection Fund and National Archive Department.
Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with the conditions created in the center.
The state agency was established to increase transparency in state bodies' activity, rendering more high quality, convenient services for citizens by using new methods and modern innovations, observing ethical rules given the need to ensure the requests of citizens, improving services and accelerating the transition to electronic services.
This state agency manages specially created ASAN-Xidmet centers, coordinates the activity of employees of state agencies, which will work in the centers, monitors and evaluates, deals with mutual integration of databases of state agencies, rapid organizes e-services, improves governance system in the sector.
The main purpose of ASAN is to satisfy citizens with legal services rendered by state agencies, to ensure transparency, to exclude corruption cases, to use the modern technologies, to form new thinking in the relations between servants and citizens, as well as the approach - "task of a state servant is to ensure the citizens' rights".
