Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg on Friday announced the members of a panel tasked to review the country's response to twin attacks that claimed 77 lives last month, DPA reported.

The July 22 commission was formed in "broad dialogue" with the opposition in parliament, Stoltenberg said after a cabinet meeting.

The commission was to "investigate all relevant aspects" and "get facts on the table," Stoltenberg told a news conference.

Survivors, next of kin and the people of Norway wanted to know "what happened, why did it happen," he said, and would also present proposals on how to avert similar events in future.

The commission was to conclude its work August 10, 2012.

Attorney Alexandra Bech Gjorv, 46, was to head the 10-member commission and said it was likely it would present some of its findings during its work.

Gjorv said it would focus on society's overall response but could not avoid looking at individual decisions as part of its overall task to suggest improvements.
