Azerbaijan, Baku, 26 May /corr. Trend I.Alizade / The next congress of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) will not discuss structure and staff changes. "The agenda of the congress will include only one issue - official nomination of the candidate from NAP who will participate in the Presidential elections," Vice Speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament, member of NAP Board, Bahar Muradova, told Trend on 26 May.

The NAP congress will take place by autumn. Several members of the NAP Political Council consider that the party is in need of structure and staff changes. "It is inaccurate to expect serious structure and staff changes from the congress. Such step will not be made," Muradova said.

According to him, appointments will not be made to vacant positions of the first deputy chairman and deputy chairman of the party.

Muradova said that one of the next meetings of the party may focus on structure and staff changes. "NAP is a permanently refreshing organization and unlike other parties, carries out structure and staff changes more boldly. It is a normal process," she said.

NAP was established Heydar Aliyev who was the Chairman of Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Currently the party is being chaired by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
