Calm night before Georgian parliament

Only few opposition supporters and activists were in front of the Georgian parliament in the whole night. They were led by one of the Unified Opposition leaders Koka Guntzadze.

Oppositionists were at their cars in front of the parliament during a cold enough night. The night was without excesses.

However, there were two incidents, so activists of the "Why" youth movement were detained and beaten at 23:00, the Georgian people's supporter said.

Later, a taxi with one citizen who returned from the demonstration was detained and beaten, as well as the taxi driver's car was damaged.

The opposition's action will resume at 15:00 on April 10. Its participations intend to specify their action plan, if President Mikheil Saakashvili refuses to resign.
