BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 27. Azerbaijan exported 137,800 tons of crude oil and crude oil products obtained from bituminous rocks worth $75.9 million to Thailand from January through April of this year.
The data obtained by Trend from the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee shows that this indicator grew by $127.2 million, or 62.6 percent in value, and 189,200 tons, or 57.9 percent in volume terms, compared to the same period in 2024.
During the reporting period, Thailand ranked 11th among the top importers of Azerbaijani oil in volume.
To note, in the first four months of 2025, Azerbaijan exported 8.2 million tons of crude oil and crude oil products obtained from bituminous rocks worth $4.6 billion to 17 countries.
