ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, January 22. The 'Avaza' power plant located in the national tourist zone of Turkmenistan of the same name exceeded the production plan by 4 percent in 2023, Trend reports.
During this period, the power plant produced more than 1.13 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity while providing electricity to hotels, sanatoriums, recreation centers, and health centers in the tourist area.
The 'Avaza' power plant is fully equipped with powerful gas turbines and equipment from leading world manufacturers.
Each turbine operates independently, and an air conditioning system is used to maintain an optimal microclimate while the facility complies with international quality and environmental safety standards.
Furthermore, the station is connected by a 14.5-kilometer fuel pipeline to an automated gas distribution station, from where the operation of the turbines is controlled.
An open distribution system and powerful equipment ensure the supply of electricity to the power grid of the seaside Turkmenbashi city.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan is actively improving its energy complex, focusing on the development of electricity production.
Expansion of energy infrastructure, modernization of power plants, and connection to international energy networks are becoming key steps to ensure stability and create opportunities for electricity exports.
