A fire broke out Monday at the gas pipeline CAC-4 ("Central Asia Center", of Inter Gas Central Asia JSC); there were no casualties or injuries, the press-service of Kazakhstan Emergency Ministry said.
"In the Zhylyoi district of Atyrau region, 20 kilometers from the city of Kulsary a burst occurred at the gas main CAC-4, of Inter Gas Central Asia JSC with diameter of 1400 mm, followed by burning," says the press-release.
According to Emergency Ministry, no one was hurt as a result of the accident.
The report notes that gas supply to consumers via the second line of the gas main didn't cease.
