ASTANA, Kazakhstan, January 14. A network of
modern warehouse complexes is being developed to foster the growth
of e-commerce in Kazakhstan, said Asel Zhanasova, Chairwoman of the
Board of JSC "Kazpost," at a government meeting, Trend reports.
She noted that together with international partners, the
construction of multimodal warehouses is planned in Almaty, Aktobe,
and the Almaty and Turkestan regions of Kazakhstan, with a total
area of over 85,000 square meters.
"The investment volume will be around $100 million. This
infrastructure will serve as the foundation for both the domestic
market and the development of cross-border trade," emphasized Asel
Zhanasova.
Additionally, at the meeting, Asel Zhanasova reported that digital services are being created in Kazakhstan, which will provide citizens with access to products from global e-commerce.
