The new Iranian administration has a different approach to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) than the Rouhani administration, an expert in international affairs, Ardeshir Sanaei, told Trend.
"The new administration has shown that the JCPOA is not its priority. One could not expect that those who constantly criticized the JCPOA in the past eight years, now would resume negotiation with a constructive and positive approach in the current government," Sanaei noted.
In general, we can not consider the result of negotiations in the last days as a failure for the whole Vienna negotiations, he indicated.
He pointed out that the current conditions are not to be very pessimistic about.
"Iran is in a difficult economic situation and solving economic issues without the JCPOA is wrong, and decision makers in Iran have come to this understanding," Sanaei said.
He said there will be an agreement in the next 3 to 5 months.
Iran nuclear deal negotiations broke off on Wednesday and would resume.
