Lebanese Foreign Minister Fawzi Salloukh on Tuesday responded furiously to a claim made by President Shimon Peres to a Kuwaiti paper that Hizbullah had 80,000 rockets, The Jerusalem Post reported.
"Where does he get this number from," said Salloukh, according to Israel Radio.
Meanwhile, Lebanese intelligence officials were continuing to investigate suspicions that Israel tapped into e-mail correspondence between top government officials in Beirut.
