Azerbaijan, Baku, 4 March / Trend corr U. Ismayilova/ The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan approved coefficient value added tax (VAT) in the city areas for people engaged in construction.
Earlier, at a decision made by the Cabinet dating 25 September 2007 Baku was divided into 12 areas.

For the Absheron region (including Khirdalan), Sumgayit and Ganja the coefficient is 1.0; Khankendi, Ali Bayramli, Mingachevir, Nakhchivan, Lankaran, Yevlakh, Sheki, Naftalan, Shamakhi, Gazakh, Shamkir, Salyan, Guba, Khachmaz, Zagatala, Jalilabad, Goychay - 0.8; other regions, towns, villages and settlements - 0.6.
