Azerbaijan, Baku, 29 April / Trend / The number of deals to purchase real estate through leasing conditions has increased by over 50%, Emil Mammadov, Head of the project 'Leasing of commercial real estate' of the leasing company Unileasing, stated.
"Presently, the number of appeals to the company to purchase real estate through leasing conditions has been rising significantly. This tendency is connected with the constant increase of prices for real estate and rent rates in the local market, as well as the attractive financing conditions rendered by Unileasing," Mammadov stated.
Twenty-four contracts in the sum of $4.6mln were signed within the framework of the project. The number of investments of the company into the project made up $2.7mln at the end of 2007 and $1.5mln was invested in the project in the first quarter of 2008.
The share of Commercial real estate in the total portfolio of the company has increased to 16.6%. Offices, premises for business and trade, production and storage premises, as well as other commercial real estate is possible to be purchased through leasing conditions of 10 years with an 18% rate.
