Azerbaijani insurance company "AtaSıgorta" is preparing to increase its capital by more than 30 percent, chairman of the company's board Museyib Aliyev told Trend today.
"Currently, the registered capital of the company is 7.6 million manat," he said. "We plan to increase it to 10 million manat by late 2013."
He said that capital will be increased at the expense of the shareholder.
"AtaSıgorta", a member of AtaHolding group of companies, has been operating in the insurance market since 2004. It operates on 22 types of voluntary and four types of compulsory insurance.
"AtaSıgorta" is the founder and member of the Compulsory Insurance Bureau. The company has four branches and four representative offices.
The official exchange rate is 0.7845 AZN/USD on May 10.
