TEHRAN, Iran, Feb.10
Trend:
Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPO) is to launch the support package for non-oil export that was approved by the parliament, said head of TPO.
"The first part of the package is financial advances in rials that will be provided by banks and the National Development Fund. The other part of the package is a grant to develop non-oil export via TPO," said Hamid Zadboum, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"The non-oil revenues have covered major part of country's basic goods import and domestic needs," Zadboum added.
"The obstacles in domestic production have been resolved in the current Iranian year [started March 21, 2019), and a document on development of cargo export to target countries has been drafted by the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran," the head of TPO said.
"Iran's trade balance in the past month was slightly negative, but considering the increase in export volume in past ten months in current Iranian year, the country's export has increased and foreign trade balance was positive in general," he added.
Iranian Parliament has approved the financial support package in the budget plan in last Iranian year (started March 21, 2018).
