BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 27. A total of 97 companies with UAE capital were registered in Türkiye in the period from January through October this year, which is 38 less than in the same period in 2023, Trend reports via the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TOBB).
“While the total capital of UAE companies registered in Türkiye amounted to 171.3 billion Turkish Liras ($4.9 billion) in the reporting period, this figure amounted to 1.05 billion Turkish Liras ($288 million) in the same period of 2023,” the statement of TOBB reads.
The organization also reported that 87 UAE companies registered in Istanbul between January and October 2024.
“The total capital of UAE companies registered in Istanbul amounted to 170.4 billion Turkish Liras ($4.9 billion),” TOBB said.
Information indicates that between January and October of this year, Türkiye registered 43 trading companies with UAE capital. The rest of the companies cover other sectors of the economy.
