Commercial port of Aktau decreases oil cargo transfer

The International Commercial Sea Port of Aktau (ICSPA) shipped more than 6.4 million tons of oil cargo in January to July compared to more than 5.5 million tons in January to June, the port said.

The ICSPA shipped 920,400 tons of oil cargo in July compared to 1.1 million tons in January to June.

The port shipped nearly 1.3 million tons of dry cargo in January to July as compared to 1 million tons in January to June.

The port shipped 7.8 million tons of dry cargo and oil in total in January to July. In July the index was about 1.2 million tons.

The port handled 963 ships in January to July.

At present there are six international seaports in Caspian Sea, including Baku (Azerbaijan), Astrakhan (Russia), Turkmenbashi (Turkmenistan), Aktau (Kazakhstan), Enezeli and Neka (Iran) in the Caspian Sea.
