Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company at Khuzestan province in southwestern Iran exported about 20,000 tons of products by railway, said Kamran Jodaki, the head of operations of warehousing and packaging department of Amir Kabir Company, Trend reports citing company’s website.
According to Jodaki, the product was transported in 20 wagons under a contract signed with the Imam Khomeini Port Special Economic Zone, Customs Department, Ports and Maritime Organization and the Imam Khomeini Railway Department.
Jodaki added that each wagon carried 36 tons of products.
"With removing possible obstacles related to the transportation of products, 60,000 tons of cargo can be transported by railway per day," he said.
The official said that the company's products are transported by wagons to, and exported through, the container terminal and the container terminal.
The Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company is located in Petrochemical special economic zone at the Imam Khomeini port of Khuzestan province. The company annually produces 520 tons of ethylene, 300,000 tons of LDPE, 260,000 tons of LLDPE, 140,000 tons of HDPE, 154,000 tons of propylene, 134,000 tons of DPG, 104,000 tons of C4 Cut, 51,000 tons of Butadine, 20,000 tons of butane, 1,500 tons of Pe-wax and other products.
