BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 21. The volume of remittances of individuals from Kuwait to Azerbaijan amounted to $1.609 million in the first half of 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's Central Bank shows that this indicator decreased by 5.41 percent, or $92,000, compared to the same period of last year.
The share of transfers from Kuwait in the total volume of transfers is 0.3 percent.
Following the results of 2023, the volume of remittances of individuals from Kuwait to Azerbaijan amounted to $3.3 million.
To note, the volume of remittances of natural persons from foreign countries to Azerbaijan amounted to $1.6 billion at the end of 2023.
