ASTANA, Kazakhstan, January 11. Representatives of the Chinese company Henan Agricultural Investment Capital Company are interested in supplies of barley from Kazakhstan, Trend reports via the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
During a working trip to China in December 2024, Kazakhstan's Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov met with representatives of Henan Agricultural Investment Capital Co. LTD. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in key areas.
The company’s representatives arrived in Kazakhstan to study in more detail the opportunities for joint work and assess the potential of the Kazakh market. The delegation also met with Deputy Minister of Agriculture Yermek Kenzhekhanuly.
"Trade relations with China are strengthening every year. We are interested in activating cooperation across all key areas," noted Kenzhekhanuuly.
Chen Huaiyan, Deputy General Director of Henan Agricultural Investment Capital Co. LTD, spoke about the company's activities, mentioning that the company is taking steps to expand international trade, including the import of barley and mung beans.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to roll up their sleeves and get the ball rolling on mutually beneficial cooperation in the supply of grain and barley, as well as diving into investment projects.
To note, Chinese company Henan Agricultural Investment Capital Company, which includes five organizations, is engaged in the trade of wheat, corn, soybeans, barley, meat, and fertilizers in China, Kazakhstan, and Thailand.
