Georgian Economic Minister Natia Turnava and Mihouse company CEO Singrita Urushadze opened a Mihouse building materials hypermarket in the Tbilisi Sea Hualing Plaza, Trend reports referring to the ministry.
The hypermarket, which covers about 12,000 square meters, offers up to 60,000 types of products to the clients.
The consumers can purchase the construction and renovation materials produced in Italy, Spain, Turkey, Germany and other countries.
The hypermarket was opened to meet the growing demand for the construction and renovation materials in the country.
The company managers were working on the new concept of the hypermarket for several months. More than 15 million lari ($4.9 million) was invested in the project.
Foreign specialists were invited to set up the hypermarket in line with high standards.
The newly-opened hypermarket has 150 employees.
